If you've ever looked in the mirror and thought, "hm, I look more tired than I
feel." And chances are it's not just because of lack of sleep. It usually
happens because something is going on within our face that contributes to that
tired appearance. My name is Valeria Vexler. I'm a registered nurse, face
fitness expert, and a bulletproof provider in manual therapy and body
works. And today I'm going to talk about one of the biggest issues that many of
my clients come to me with, and this is eye bags. Eye bags are usually one of
the first signs to show us that your fascia or lymphatic flow are out of
balance. And you probably noticed when you look in the mirror and you see eye
bags, your face looks more tired than rested. And that's something that we
need to tackle. And there is a way to do it naturally. Today, I'm going to share
with you one little secret that a lot of people don't know. And there is this
acupressure point that you can target so that your eye bags disappear without
cosmetic procedures or surgeries. Let's talk about the reasons why we start to
develop eye bags. And no, it's not because of genetics. The actual reason
is because our skin under our eyes sits quite thin and whatever is happening
underneath shows up to the surface very quickly. So when we lack sleep or when
we have too much stress in our body and in our life, our facial muscles become
constricted and the muscle around our eyes which is called arvicularis oculi
muscle becomes tight and it prevents blood flow from moving freely away from
our eyes and towards our eyes. And when blood flow is imbalanced, lymphatic flow
is imbalanced as well. And lymph is water that moves toxins away from our
face. So when we have this lymph accumulation within our eyes, we start
to develop IBECs. And inside our face fitness system, we actually target eye
bags holistically because they do not just happen on their own. There are
different groups of muscles that we need to target and different points that we
need to target to release the tension to boost blood flow and boost lymphatic
flow. And something you might not realize is that your neck posture and
even your breathing affects the way your face looks. And that's why I highly
recommend you to watch my previous video where I discussed different muscle
groups that you need to target to achieve holistic result quickly.
So now let's talk about this secret point that a lot of my students already
know about and that's the point that is located right below our pupils. So what
I want you to do is I want you to press with your index fingers below your
pupils on the bone not on the gentle skin but on the bone here for about 10
to 15 seconds and move in circular motion here. This point is connected to
your stomach and when the fluids are accumulated in your body they're also
starting to accumulate under your eyes. Hence why we see eye bags. So I would
recommend you to try pressing on this point and moving in circular motion for
10 to 15 seconds. Then release tension and then again repeat two to three
times. And notice how you reduce puffiness and swelling under your eyes
and also your eyes start to look brighter and dark circles start to
disappear as well. And I also encourage you to target lymphatic drainage
techniques, not just pressing on this point. So after you finish two to three
sets, what you can do is you can place your index finger close to the eye
corner. With your opposite index finger, locate the bone under your eye. And very
slowly, you're going to move from your eye corner on the bone until you reach
the temple area. Make sure that you're sitting straight, your shoulders are
down, both of your feet are on the floor. And if you feel any tightness or
any pressure points along the way, you can stay there for a couple of seconds
and massage in circular motion and then keep going until you reach your temple.
Because when there is tension happening in the facial muscle, in the eye muscle,
then we start to accumulate lymph and this exercise will help you to drain
that lymph away from your eye and this will be a great addition to the
acupressure point that I shared with you earlier. Repeat the same on the opposite
side. Remember, eye bags is not a sign of aging. It's a sign of imbalance. And
when we are targeting the imbalance, we're able to bring everything back to
where it's supposed to be. Bring it back to balance. And we start seeing
incredible results without having to do cosmetic procedures. When you restore
your circulation and release tension in fascia and muscles, you'll notice how
the blood flow is able to move freely within your face. And not only your eyes
will start to transform, but many other aging signs will start to disappear as
well. And that's what we do in our face fitness system. We target the causes of
aging, not just the symptoms. And if you're interested, link is in my bio.
You can explore more techniques, more programs. And I can't wait for you to
see how you can transform your face completely naturally. Thank you so much
for watching this video till the end, and I'll see you again in my next one. I
